What Hollywood Eats

Sunday, February 28, it’s time once again to hand out the most famous golden statuettes in the world: the Oscars. FavorFlav will skip the show, but we’re much more curious about everything on the menu during the famous after-party, the Governors Ball.

Nominees, winners and Important People receive an invite. Who can you expect? Rooney Mara, Leonardo di Caprio, Steven Spielberg, Sam Smith—and we could go on for quite a while. After the ceremony, they will all head to the ball for dinner, followed by a party.
Mac and cheese with truffle
Wolfgang Puck has been responsible for the catering during Hollywood’s event of the year for 22 years. This celebrity chef puts his most popular dishes on the menu. Mac and cheese with truffle, for example, but in miniature form. Puck also provides plenty of variety, because every self-respecting movie star naturally follows a strict diet. Anything for a killer body.
Puck doesn’t remain stuck in the eighties with everything and serves favorites such as poke and dumplings.
Avocado toast
The great and the good can also immediately see whether all the dishes are gluten-free, lactose-free or free from whatever else, so their carefully balanced diet won’t be disrupted. Imagine, a slice of cheese. Fortunately, avocado toast is on the menu. The classics aren’t missing either, such as the shrimp cocktail, chicken salad and deviled eggs. Puck doesn’t remain stuck in the eighties with everything and serves favorites such as poke and dumplings.
And then there’s the chocolate buffet: dark chocolate brownies, milk chocolate cake with peanut butter, chocolate cake with speculoos and banana ice cream, plus the classic fountain to finish it all off.
