The famous whisky brand Highland Park hardly needs an introduction, because anyone who knows a little about whisky is familiar with this name. Highland Park has been around for more than 200 years – it was founded on the Orkney Islands in 1798. It is the northernmost active distillery in Scotland, in one of the most remote parts of the country. A place completely surrounded by salty sea, where the wind can blow extremely hard and no trees grow. By making these elements work not against each other, but together in harmony, Highland Park has succeeded in creating one of the most balanced whiskies in the world.

Whisky and BBQ really are a top combination. A bold, smoky whisky goes incredibly well with meat from the grill. Chef Freek van Noortwijk, known for restaurants Guts, BREDA and Maris Piper, knows this better than anyone.
