Woman orders 48 oysters, after which her date leaves her with the bill
Going on a date with someone purely because they’re paying and you’re up for a free meal — I’m disgusted by people like that. Just stay home then. You clearly don’t see a future with someone, and if you’re so stingy that you’d rather not even pay for your own food, you’re probably not exactly a fun partner for anyone. And honestly: you don’t deserve a fun partner either.
TikToker Equana, however, sees nothing wrong with it… Her date thought differently, though: he took off before the bill arrived.
‘I invited you for a few drinks’
At the restaurant they went to for their date, oysters were 15 dollars per dozen, which she thought was a good deal. In the end, she ordered FOUR dozen (‘By the fourth platter he was lookin’ at me like I’m crazy but I don’t give a f*ck,’ she says in her TikTok) — firstly, while she was on a date and secondly, while constantly filming for TikTok. If I were her date, I would have fled after five minutes — so I actually respect that he stuck it out for that long.
But it gets worse: she saw this only as an appetizer. She casually wolfs down 48 oysters and then starts on the second course. And when that’s gone, her date has to ‘go to the toilet’. Yep, you guessed it: he never comes back, and she’s stuck with the bill. HAHA. Karma at its finest.
Afterwards, she sends him a message saying that she really doesn’t think this is acceptable, after which he very clearly tells her that he took her out for drinks, not an all-you-can-eat dinner. Bizarre that she still thinks this is incredibly unfair… Some people…
