World’s first cheese hotel suite
We’ll be honest, this sounds like music to our ears: checking into a hotel, locking yourself in your room and then spending the ENTIRE afternoon, evening, night and morning EATING CHEESE. In London’s Camden, you can do just that on 7 February. One can dream, right?
Will you brie mine?
Café Rouge, a chain of French bistros in England, is offering the chance to win a night in a pop-up cheese suite at a trendy London hotel. Everything has been thought of, from an R ’n’ Brie playlist and ‘I’m so fondue you’ cushions to cheese art in a room that is also decorated from head to toe in a cheesy style.

Of course, you’ll also call the special cheese hotline delivery service and devour the entire minibar – for the occasion, the little bottles and chocolate bars have been removed to make room for what really matters: cheese and wine. You’ll also receive a fifty-pound voucher to spend at Café Rouge (perhaps on another substantial croque-monsieur for lunch the next day), and then you’ll roll back home, tired but thoroughly satisfied.

There is one ‘but’… You still need to become friends with someone who lives in the United Kingdom and with whom you’d like to spend a night in a hotel room. You can only enter the competition if you live there, but then of course you can cross the Channel in no time at all.
