Wow! This wine honors bold women with a talking label

Every once in a while, I come across a wine that’s just a little different from other wines. Because of the taste, because of its origin (wine is even made in Ethiopia!) or because of the special story behind it. Embrazen is one such wine.

At Embrazen, it’s all about courageous women of the past, who are brought to life—literally—through the wine label. Each bottle in this series of wines tells a different story, depending on the person featured on the label. For example, the exciting story of singer and spy Josephine Baker.
Personal story
How does it work? By downloading the app (Living Wine Labels) on your phone. Then scan the label and the heroine in question comes to life through augmented reality . Josephine Baker tells her personal story that way. And naturally, the wine featuring Josephine is just as elegant and bold as the singer herself. Or, as the makers put it: “this revolutionary Red Blend is bright, intense and perfectly suited for those as bold as their wine.”
Wine is emotion
Personally, I like this way of bringing wine to people’s attention, because wine is so much more than fermented grape juice. Wine is emotion and experience, and here that starts even before you’ve opened the bottle. Fun!
