You can now buy cronuts at Lidl and they cost next to nothing
The combination of a croissant and a doughnut, with a layer of glaze: hello, cronut. The croissant-doughnut hybrid hype has been over for a while now, but that doesn’t make it any less delicious. So head to Lidl, where this old-school favourite is now available.

The cronut’s heyday is already well behind us (2013, to be precise), and by now other favourites have won our hearts. Such as soft serve in a croissant. But a cronut always hits the spot (again) – and at just 59 cents.
Make your own cronut
The flaky sweet snack is also very easy to make at home. All you need is puff pastry. Just grab a square sheet from the freezer and bake away!
