You can now buy tickets for an exclusive Rosé Champagne Masterclass

‘Most women fall for a beautiful rosé champagne,’ a certain winemaker once told me. Well, well, tut, tut, hold on a minute, I thought, until I had taken a few sips. Years later—and I don’t know how many bottles later—I can wholeheartedly agree: rosé champagne is amazing, and I don’t know a single woman who doesn’t like it. But why is that, exactly? You’ll learn that during an exclusive masterclass, with, of course, the proof of the pudding: glasses of champagne to drink! You wouldn’t want to miss that, would you?

The Rosé Champagne Masterclass will take place on August 25 and 28 at the completely restyled hotel De L’Europe Amsterdam. Bob Bron, Managing Director of Moët Hennessy Netherlands, will tell you all about the rosé champagnes from Moët & Chandon, Veuve Clicquot and Ruinart.
Made for food
Rosé champagne is delicious as an aperitif. By the way, did you know that ‘aperitif’ comes from Latin? Aperire = to open; it opens the meal and the appetite. The appetite-stimulating effect comes from the high acidity in champagne, which whets the appetite. With its fruity freshness, rosé champagne is also an excellent food wine, and you’ll experience that for yourself, because canapés (small bites) from the Brasserie Marie menu will be served with the different champagnes.
