Because this cleverly designed Barisieur is an alarm clock and coffee maker in one, and it starts brewing coffee next to your bed as soon as the alarm goes off. Snooze for a little longer with the gurgling sound and smell of freshly brewed coffee beside you—what a dream…
Throw away your Senseo
You can also use it to make tea, if that’s your preference. The device has an ingeniously designed system with a wide ‘showerhead’ that distributes the water evenly over the ground coffee or loose-leaf tea (which enhances the flavor and aromas), a small holder where you can keep milk chilled so you don’t still have to stagger to the fridge, and promises a perfect pour over to wake up to at your leisure.
Next to your bed soon?
The Barisieur was introduced last year by London-based design company Joy Resolve, and you can have it delivered to the Netherlands too. Not cheap, but for just under four hundred euros, you’ll be woken every morning in the least brutal and most pleasant (and delicious!) way possible… Morning!!
