Sure, it’s nice that all those people want to catch Pokémon, but we’d rather eat Pikachu.

Long queues at the opening of a pop-up restaurant in Singapore where everything revolves around Pokémon. This restaurant in Bugis Junction, a large shopping mall in Singapore, has been transformed into a paradise for fans of the popular cartoon. There, you can eat things like a Pikachu Smiling rice omelet or Pikachu’s ‘Thunder Shock’ parfait with a Pikachu latte served in a Pokémon cup. For fans, of course, it’s a dream come true. It is only a temporary restaurant, though, as the festivities will already be over on 31 July.
