You need this: a double cheeseburger with a cheese soufflé in the middle

This probably won’t do my blood pressure any good, but meine gute: I’d REALLY love to try this. As Joey said about Rachel’s Trifle in Friends: what’s not to like? Burgers? Good. Cheddar? Good? More cheese? GOOOOD. Yep, what a banger this is — I’m guessing you won’t need to eat anything else for the rest of the day, but that’s fine too. Let me present: the Double Trouble from snack bar De Buurman.

It won’t surprise you that our favorite snack expert Eke Bosman a.k.a. Snackspert discovered this burger, and subsequently wrote about it in Het Parool. You’ll find snack bar De Buurman on Van Hallstraat in Amsterdam West and, according to Snackspert, it’s REALLY worth trying.

‘You’ll never want to eat anything else again after this’

That’s a direct quote from Het Parool. Because even though you might think your arteries would be completely clogged, apparently it’s not actually that bad. ‘What a find! The mathematical formula delicious + delicious = super delicious applies here too. Because the cheese soufflé gives this burger an extra dimension that would make Einstein fall straight over backwards,’ says Eke.

What a wordsmith that man is, but aside from that. In any case, I’m sold and I’m going to De Buurman this weekend. With a hangover. Because I believe it will taste even better then.
