You want this: Katja is coming with Monkey Heads and Little Pigs ice cream
Yo, summer body: you’re being put on hold for a moment. There are still far too many things I want to eat. I’m not usually that tempted by a tub of ice cream (Ben & Jerry’s Cookie Dough aside), but I HAVE to try this. A bag of Monkey Heads and Little Pigs always disappears at a ridiculously rapid pace, so this can’t be anything other than delicious, right?!
Because yes: Katja—the maker of this candy—is coming with ice cream. TUBS of ice cream. In Little Pigs (grape ice cream with raspberry sauce), Monkey Heads (licorice and banana ice cream—in other words, my favorite) and yoghurt gums (strawberry and lemon yoghurt ice cream with raspberry sauce).
I. Want. This. NOW.
Yes, I get it. Me too. In fact, I’ve never run toward the supermarket so enthusiastically. And then I was standing there facing quite a disappointment, because I couldn’t find them anywhere. I frantically searched on my phone in the supermarket (it must have been quite a sight for my fellow shoppers), and what do you know: they won’t be available until next week. So from Monday onward, this will be my new guilty pleasure.
Do check which supermarket you’re racing to, by the way: initially, the tubs of ice cream will be available at Plus, Vomar, Dirk, Dekamarkt and Hoogvliet. But I honestly can’t imagine the other supermarkets not giving in within a week as well. This is TOO DELICIOUS, right?!
