You want this: truffle dip from Jean Bâton

Some people think truffle is overrated, and let me say this straight away: I don’t understand these people at all. Or well, I understand that not everyone enjoys the flavor, but I find it delicious with almost everything. With pasta (pasta with truffle oil!), on pizza, in mashed potatoes, in butter (stuffed chicken with truffle butter… to die for!) … and I recently bought truffle honey; divine with goat cheese.

My go-to at the Jumbo supermarket is therefore Jean Bâton. I really love their truffle mayo, and it goes with everything. I often pimp my pizza with it (seriously good tip: just put some truffle mayo on the pizza before you pop it in the oven, then top it with some Parma ham. DELICIOUS!) and a snack platter simply isn’t complete without it. Recently, I made steak tartare with white truffle mayonnaise, oh boy… And now they have something new.
How did this not exist already?!
That’s what I asked myself when I saw this come by. Truffle dip, OF COURSE. It sounds perfectly logical—why have they only come up with it now? But better late than never, of course. Because I can absolutely imagine that you don’t always want to dip your cheese cubes and/or bitterballen only in the mayonnaise version. Because honestly… This one actually sounds even better. At Jean Bâton, they came up with it by mixing the truffle mayonnaise with cream cheese. Exactly: You. Want. This. And #nospon, this is pure love!
