You’ll soon be eating festival food in Utrecht

Festival food, not at a festival but in a homely, cosy setting. It’s happening at Loaded in Utrecht.

Loaded is an initiative by Andre, Jeffrey and Sander. You may already know these men from Kantien, a hotspot in an old municipal office building on Ravellaan in Utrecht. Andre and Jeffrey are co-owners of Kantien, while Sander is the manager of the successful restaurant serving Dutch cuisine. One of the men is already deeply involved in the festival kitchens of, among others, DGTL and Best Kept Secret, both known for having a fantastic food line-up.

Crowdfunding
In December, the hospitality entrepreneurs launched a crowdfunding campaign, which has now been successfully completed. The renovation is in full swing and, if everything goes according to plan, Loaded will open in April. We can’t wait.
Let’s get loaded
At Loaded, you can enjoy high-quality festival food. The building has many windows, allowing plenty of natural light in. There will be lots of greenery and plant decorations. At Loaded, you can drop by at any time of day: have breakfast with a good cup of coffee, let yourself be surprised at lunch, enjoy drinks and a bite to eat, and then round off the day with an extensive dinner. Loaded works with fresh produce, in collaboration with various local entrepreneurs.
What does Loaded mean by festival food? Fresh juices, over-the-top salads, various bowls and shakshuka dishes that are easy on the eye too. Basically, everything you’d find at a food truck at a festival. Craving some extra calories? No problem at Loaded. Bao buns, tempura prawns, overloaded fries and freakass milkshakes will be available in abundance.
