You’ll want to try this: there’s now a chocolate bar that tastes like croissants

Croissants and chocolate—that’s a heavenly flavor combination, isn’t it? A warm chocolate croissant on a Saturday morning, mmm. And now Crisp has had the brilliant idea of launching a chocolate bar that tastes like croissants. Win-win!

Crisp, like Picnic, for example, is an online platform where you can order your groceries. A while ago, we already wrote about their SUBLIME bake-at-home croissants. These insanely delicious butter croissants are filled with AOP butter from Charentes-Poitou in France and made in Brittany. Baking them at home makes them wonderfully crisp and simply irresistible.
International Croissant Day
And what a brilliant idea: for International Croissant Day on January 30, they have now incorporated Crisp’s butter croissants into a chocolate bar. Partner in crime: the chocolatiers at Urban Cacao in Amsterdam.
Subtle crunch
Urban Cacao chocolatier Hans Mekking is lyrical about the new bar: “We use a blend of sustainably produced beans from Africa and South America, combined with extra-high-quality creamy milk powder, resulting in a mild and full-bodied cocoa blend. The addition of butter crumble gives the chocolate a subtle crunch. For this, the croissants were baked twice until extra crisp in the Urban oven and then dried. And you can taste that distinctive combination!”
Limited edition
The limited-edition bar ‘Chocolate with croissant’ is available from Crisp while stocks last. You can find the chocolate croissant bar in the Crisp app for €2.49.
