Flirthallen Foodhallen

After almost two years of swiping and endless walking dates, it’s time to give fate a helping hand: Foodhallen Amsterdam, The Hague and Rotterdam are being transformed into Flirthallen again on 12 and 14 February – and it’s going to be hotter than ever!

Maintaining a romantic relationship during lockdowns is tough, but being single and having nowhere to go may be even tougher. And now – finally – the hospitality industry is opening up again, so you can get back to flirting to your heart’s content. The perfect place to do that is Foodhallen, because wow: there’s certainly romance in the air!

Bottle of liquid courage

Already got your eye on a potential date? Seize your chance on 12 February during the pre-Valentine’s drinks: Cupid will lovingly hand a  shot-to-the-heart  to the lucky person. Is it a match? You might be sitting down to a candlelit dinner at Foodhallen with your conquest on the 14th. Even quiet admirers can count on a ‘wingman’: hang a one-liner in the tree and you could win a bottle of liquid courage. More of a competitive type – the floor is yours  – so take on a dance battle to the beats of DJ Matchmaker.

Love at first bite

Scored a date? Then there’ll be a rusk waiting for you the next morning. If not, don’t worry: there’s plenty of fuel to drink away your sorrows.

Win!

And here’s the fun part: Foodhallen is giving away five fully catered dinners for two: a 5-course candlelight Valentine’s menu with booze-pairing on 14 February. Two winners will be ‘drawn’ during the pre-party mentioned above on 12 February, and three winners will be selected via Instagram – you can enter digitally from 25 January. In short, love conquers all.

Flirthallen is open on Saturday 12 February from noon until closing – entry is free. You can find more information about the event here.
