Lemon cheesecake cocktail

Limoncello is traditionally served ice-cold, preferably after a meal, but you can also make fantastic cocktails with it. This lemon cheesecake cocktail is tastier and creamier than your favorite summer drink, sgroppino, and even easier to make. The main ingredient? Villa Massa limoncello.

Sweet vanilla combined with the delicious tartness of Villa Massa: Villa Massa’s authentic Sorrento Limoncello. Only ‘Sorrento Oval PGI lemons’ are used in its production; quite a mouthful for something that can simply be described as the best lemons in Italy. They are harvested by hand, then carefully washed and dried. Finally, the peels, which are packed with essential oils, are grated from the fruit. These oils are the most important flavoring in the refreshing Italian liqueur, which is still made according to a family recipe passed down through generations – since 1890, to be precise.
Better than cake
Combined with the vanilla notes of Licor 43, Villa Massa limoncello transforms into an explosion of flavor that puts many a pastry chef to shame. The splash of cream also provides the perfect consistency, resulting in a deliciously fresh, sweet and velvety cocktail that you’ll want to lick off your fingers. Better than real cheesecake and tastier than the little sgroppino you use to round off every meal at the local Italian restaurant. In short: make it. We did too.
Method
Pour all the ingredients into the cocktail shaker. Shake well and strain the mixture. Pour the mixture into a beautiful glass – preferably a classic champagne glass – and garnish with a lemon peel.
