Recipe: Merguez sausage party

At FavorFlav, we love a party and we never say no to merguez sausages. A merguez sausage party from Chef met Lef is therefore everything our heart desires.

How to make it
- Preheat the oven to 200 degrees.
- Season the rutabaga fries with the chili powder, paprika and a little salt.
- Cut the chorizo into strips.
- Finely chop the jalapeño peppers and grate the cheddar.
- Spread the rutabaga fries over the baking tray lined with parchment paper and bake them in the preheated oven for 15 to 20 minutes
- Meanwhile, heat a layer of sunflower oil in a pan over medium heat and fry the chorizo.
- Remove the chorizo from the pan and fry the lamb sausages until cooked through.
- Place the buns in the oven for a few minutes and mix all the ingredients for the sauce in a bowl.
- Remove the buns and fries from the oven.
- Place the fries in a bowl and top with some of the chorizo, jalapeño and cheese, so the cheese starts to melt.
- Cut the buns open lengthwise to make room for the lamb sausages.
- Place a lettuce leaf in each bun and divide the sauerkraut, grated carrot and remaining cheese over them.
- Place a sausage in each bun and spoon the sauce over it.
- Sprinkle with some fried onions and parsley and serve.
