How to make a Bloody Mary 2.0

The Bloody Mary is universally loved and, among other places, is a refreshing cocktail that is often enjoyed on airplanes. How can you pimp this classic?

The standard recipe for a Bloody Mary consists of tomato juice, vodka, lime, Tabasco and Worcestershire sauce. Add a stick of celery and voilà, your cocktail is ready.
Bloody Caesar
Made with a mix of tomato juice and oyster broth: clamato. Fish restaurant de Gouden Hoek serves the Bloody Caesar with Old Bay seasoning mix and an oyster on the side.
Bloody Geisha
This Japanese twist on the classic Bloody Mary uses sake instead of vodka. You can add soy sauce for extra flavor, but not too much, as it will mainly make the drink very salty rather than delicious. For the final kick, add a small amount of wasabi.
Bloody Maria
With mezcal or tequila instead of vodka. If you’re going all-in on the Mexican theme: add a roasted mini corn cob and a pimiento de padrón.

Bunny Mary
Huh? The word ‘bunny’ refers to the use of carrot juice here instead of tomato juice. So the cocktail is orange. The usual vodka and lime juice are also present, plus pickle or caper brine.
Virgin Mary
Also known as the Bloody Shame. A virgin-style cocktail contains no alcohol and is therefore simply refreshingly delicious and almost a salad.
