The real difference between Pepsi and Coca-Cola

There are two types of people in the world: Pepsi people or Coca-Cola people. The battle between Pepsi and Coca-Cola is centuries old, but what exactly is the difference between the two?

What really is the difference between Pepsi and Coca-Cola? At first glance, the drinks are the same, but the flavors really are different. Coca-Cola is often described as ‘classic’, while Pepsi is considered sweeter.
Sugar versus sodium
The ingredient Pepsi contains but Coca-Cola does not is citric acid, which gives Pepsi a citrusy flavor. Pepsi also contains more sugar and caffeine than Coca-Cola. So it is true that Pepsi tastes sweeter. Coca-Cola does contain more sodium than Pepsi.

Even though it is a fierce battle, Coca-Cola is still ahead in terms of market share. What is your favorite?
