111 types of cheese on your pizza

We believe you can never have enough cheese on a pizza. So we’ll have a quattro formaggi, please. Or a bite of the centoundici formaggi: a version with one hundred and eleven (!) types of cheese.

The pizza has recently started being made by a chef at the Berlin restaurant Vadoli Pizzeria. He tops the dough with—yes, really—111 different types of cheese. Among others, you can taste mozzarella, Emmentaler, Raclette de Chèvre, and aged and cumin Gouda cheese.
Record-breaking pizza
You might expect the pizza to be much larger and heavier than a regular pizza, but it’s not too bad. Only 2.6 grams of each cheese was used, after all, which is extremely little. But that doesn’t change the fact that it’s a remarkable record. The chef earned a place in the Guinness World Records book with his cheese pizza.
