10 bizarre vending machines: useful or completely crazy?!

You can find vending machines for drinks or sweets everywhere in the Netherlands. These machines have saved me several times when I was craving a Mars bar or a filled cookie late at night. But there are also vending machines that cater to some very specific needs.

The first vending machines were introduced in 1880, at stations in London. An interesting detail: they were used to sell postcards, envelopes and writing paper. Would you use these vending machines?

After seeing these machines, I’m incredibly curious about what you’ll be able to get from vending machines in the future. Insect snacks? Personally, I think a vending machine with dishes from Michelin-starred chefs would be a brilliant idea. A rijsttafel from Ron Blaauw, the famous egg from Jonnie Boer… I can’t wait!
