What exactly is 100Chefs by Gault&Millau?

100Chefs by Gault&Millau is a two-day culinary spectacle where more than 100 top chefs from all over the Netherlands come together to let you, lucky bastard, taste their signature dishes. Between 12:00 and 18:00, you stroll around with a wine glass around your neck, a spork in your hand and a blissful smile on your face.

Chef’s Table(s): front-row fine dining

The Chef’s Table was already a hit last year, but this year they’re going for a double dose. At two large bars, chefs cook a special dish every two hours, with a matching wine, of course. You sit in the front row while the chef tells you about their creation, and taste a flavour combination that will keep you going for the rest of the month.

To get you warmed up for the 2025 Chef’s Table, we do know that these 4 restaurants will be making an appearance:

Saturday: Restaurant Troef from Amsterdam & EDEN from Waalre
Sunday: Restaurant O&O from Sint Willebrord & Triptyque from Wateringen

The first names for 100Chefs have been announced!

But hooray, even more names have been announced—those of the participating restaurants, that is. Hold on tight, here comes the first star-studded generation of 2025:

Saturday 11 October:

  • De Kromme Watergang (Hoofdplaat)
  • RIJKS (Amsterdam)
  • Merlet (Schoorl)
  • De Kromme Dissel (Heelsum)
  • De Nederlanden (Vreeland aan de Vecht)
  • Restaurant Cèpes (Otterlo)
  • Euro Pizza (Amsterdam)

Sunday 12 October:

  • De Librije (Zwolle)
  • Tante Blanche (Brummen)
  • Konijnenvoer (Arnhem)
  • ‘t Amsterdammertje (Loenen aan de Vecht)
  • Kasteel Heemstede (Houten)
  • Basiliek (Harderwijk)
  • Ciel Bleu (Amsterdam)

And that’s just the appetiser, because the full list of more than 100 restaurants will go online at the end of July.

Taste, talk, toast

Besides the food, there’s also room for—yes, you guessed it: wine. 25 wineries from the Netherlands and abroad will be ready for you. And they’ll be pouring a wide range of wines, from subtle chardonnay to excellent pinot noir; everything is on offer. Gall&Gall, together with Gault&Millau, will make sure your glass never runs dry.

How much does a culinary festival like this cost?

Early birds (and quick decision-makers) can get a day ticket for €119. After that, you’ll pay €169 per day or €295 for a weekend pass. Only 1000 spots are available per day, so you know what you have to do. Hurry and order your tickets.

Everything arranged, even your spork

Upon arrival, you’ll receive a spork (yes, that’s a spoon-fork) and a wine glass with a lanyard. No lugging around cutlery or searching for a glass, then. Easy, delicious and practical. Everything you can expect from 100Chefs by Gault&Millau.

The practical details
