10x opinions about food you can wholeheartedly disagree with
Never put pineapple on a pizza, well done steak is disgusting and you make a frikandel speciaal with curry sauce, never ketchup. So, who dares disagree? Taste is debatable, and you can discuss good food for hours, especially with people who love food and cooking just as much as you do – but all the wrong things.
You shouldn’t ask for milk with an espresso, and certainly not sugar. The tip should always be ten percent. A children’s menu in a restaurant is for lazy parents and picky eaters. And it’s called fries, definitely not chips. Are you climbing the walls yet?

- Pineapple on a pizza tastes absolutely delicious. No one dares say it, because everyone on the internet hates it.
- Red Velvet Cake is simply failed chocolate cake with lots of food coloring.
- Americans have the taste buds of toddlers. They only like savory food if there’s something sweet with it. Caramelized walnuts on a salad, sweet cranberries on a salad. Sweet sauce over the meat. And for dessert, fruit in syrup with whipped cream.
- Desserts with lemon are much tastier than desserts with chocolate. I’d rather have lemon meringue pie than chocolate cake.
- Oysters are not aphrodisiac shellfish. No sensible person should eat them. (They have dozens of little eyes, did you know that?)
- Greek yogurt is just sour creme, everyone knows that.
- Tea with sugar is truly disgusting.
- Tuna melts are a huge mistake. You shouldn’t eat canned tuna hot.
