Admittedly, we don’t always understand art. Yes, we can certainly see that what the artist has done is beautiful and impressive. But understanding art is a profession in itself, if you ask us. And yet it seems to click immediately when art and food come together. Like when graffiti artists turn obscene figures into hamburgers, for example. Or when focaccia loaves become actual little paintings. Or what about mothers transforming their children’s plates into edible works of art? Also absolutely amazing: this artist who incorporates all kinds of food into his illustrations. How cool! You’d want to hang this in your kitchen, right?!
