13x Horrible Bakes, You Have to See This
Sometimes you frolic through the kitchen like a foal. Everything you try turns out even better than you imagined. An Ottolenghi could still learn a thing or two from you—what baking knowledge and an incredible sense of flavor combinations you have. And sometimes… things turn out very differently, as you can see from these photos.
It’s really not that bad if a cake comes out of the oven a little dark. Put some icing on it and no one will notice. And if the bread doesn’t rise quite enough, or the macarons collapse a little, that’s no disaster either, because they’ll still taste delicious. But there is a limit to what you can serve your guests and family when it comes to baking blunders. What a mess comes out of some people’s ovens—you won’t believe your eyes.
