5 festive Christmas cocktails for 2025

The festive season is the perfect time to add a little extra flair to your dinner, and that certainly applies to the drinks. From a spicy Whisky Sour to a Pink Glitter Spritz: these 5 Christmas cocktails are the Christmas hits of 2025. Easily make them at home and surprise your guests with something new.

Esmarshmallow: the coffee cocktail everyone loves
Espresso Martini is the pick-me-up you need during a long Christmas Eve. Esmarshmallow is the soft, approachable coffee cocktail that will put you in the Christmas spirit. Tia Maria Cold Brew, Absolut Vodka and a fluffy marshmallow as the finishing touch – this is the ultimate after-dinner treat.
Ingredients:
6-8 ice cubes
100 ml espresso
75 ml Tia Maria Cold Brew
75 ml Absolut Vodka
2 marshmallows
- Also needed: cocktail shaker, cocktail picks, crème brûlée torch
Method:
Put the espresso, Tia Maria, vodka and ice in a cocktail shaker and shake for at least 30 seconds.
Toast the marshmallows until golden brown with a crème brûlée torch.
Pour the cocktail into Martini glasses and place the marshmallows on a pick on top.

Cranberry Whisky Sour: fresh, fruity and ideal as an aperitif
Whisky Sour is a classic favourite, but this version gets a fruity update with cranberry juice. It’s a fresh, smooth variation that’s perfect as an aperitif before dinner.
Ingredients:
50 ml lemon juice
6-8 ice cubes
120 ml The Singleton 12 Years Whisky
175 ml cranberry juice
1 egg white
Angostura bitters (optional)
Cranberries and rose petals (for garnish)
Method:
Shake the lemon juice, whisky, cranberry juice, egg white and ice vigorously.
Strain without ice, add a few drops of Angostura bitters and garnish with cranberries and rose petals.

Pink Glitter Spritz: a cheerful and sparkling drink
What’s better than a refreshing spritz? Well, making it glittery, of course! The Pink Glitter Spritz with Lillet Rosé and a subtle bitterness from grapefruit instantly makes your Christmas Eve more festive.
Ingredients:
½ grapefruit
Ice
120 ml Lillet Rosé
150 ml rosé
100 ml sparkling water
Gall&Gall Cocktail Glitter
Method:
Divide the grapefruit juice and ice between the glasses, then pour in the Lillet Rosé and rosé.
Top up the glass with sparkling water and stir briefly. Add the glitter as a finishing touch.

Santa’s Sundae: the easiest dessert cocktail
Some dessert cocktails are simply impossible to resist, and Santa’s Sundae is one of them. Vanilla ice cream, Baileys Cinnamon Roll and a crisp cookie – that’s all you need to create the perfect finale to your dinner.
Ingredients:
Vanilla ice cream
80 ml Baileys Cinnamon Roll
Cinnamon shortbread cookies
Method:
Scoop a ball of vanilla ice cream into a glass.
Pour the Baileys Cinnamon Roll over it.
Garnish with a cookie (or bake your own Christmas cookies) and optionally add whipped cream and cinnamon for extra festivity.

Sparkling Margarita: a sparkling start to the celebration
Tequila in a cocktail is always a good idea, especially when you make it glittery! The Sparkling Margarita with lime and a touch of glitter turns an ordinary cocktail into a showstopper that will surprise everyone at the table. Plus, it looks fantastic, of course!
Ingredients:
60 ml lime juice
6 ice cubes
125 ml José Cuervo Especial Silver
100 ml Triple Sec
Gall & Gall Cocktail Glitter
Method:
Shake the lime juice, Tequila, Triple Sec, ice and glitter in a shaker for 30 seconds.
Dip the rim of the glass in lime juice and glitter.
Strain without ice.
