When it comes to food, “keep it normal, and you’re already being crazy enough” isn’t such a strange saying at all. A pasta Bolognese, a grilled cheese sandwich or a stamppot: when prepared properly, the simplest dishes are often the tastiest. So why, I repeat: whhhhhy, do people sometimes have to come up with such idiotic products and dishes? Just look at these 10 dishes: aren’t they simply an insult to humanity?

Don’t get me wrong, experimenting can be a lot of fun. It can produce some truly great things, too. For example, risotto with Barolo wine turns out to be a stroke of genius, and deep-fried ravioli a gift from heaven. Unfortunately, not the dishes below. We’d like to send those straight back to hell.
