The packaging of your favorite crisps says ‘new’ and ‘improved’. Great! Or is it? In these nine cases, you’re simply being ripped off right before your very eyes, because these revamped products are mainly smaller, less substantial and emptier than their predecessors.

The packaging says: family size. So, a big bag of crisps for the whole family to enjoy. But if you look at the small print, you’ll see that there’s LESS in it. Huh, what? Yep, and it happens more often than you’d think. Large bottles of cola are slightly smaller than they used to be, the new chocolate bar is a lot narrower – and there’s no inflation adjustment for this kind of inflation!
