6 McDonald’s dishes that are a total failure #2

It’s nice to see that you ‘enjoyed’ the McDonald’s dishes that were a major failure. Dishes that make you think, ‘how?!’ And there were only six of them, you know. So if you thought these were the only fails from the restaurant of the Golden Arches, think again.

McDonald’s has made more blunders, after all. Which is also understandable, considering they’ve been around since 1955. Accidents happen. It’s part of the process. But I found another six that really, truly should never have happened.
McDonald’s dishes that are a total failure

1. McDonald’s Hotdog
I’ll admit: it doesn’t look bad in the photo. But you have to keep in mind that the Big Mac always looks perfect too, and you don’t get it in your hands looking quite like that either. But this flavor, people… We’re probably spoiled by HEMA’s perfect hotdogs, but this is truly plastic not-so-fantastic.

2. McStuffins
If you’ve ever been to America, you know that Hot Pockets are a thing there. Especially after two in the morning and with too many drinks under your belt. Hot Pockets are basically the answer to our shawarma or döner sandwich. McDonald’s tried to recreate those Hot Pockets, and it did NOT go down well. The fact that this is the only photo of them still left on the internet says enough, I think.

3. Mighty Wings
The ‘limited time’ for these wings was very limited indeed. Nobody could actually finish them. Not because they didn’t look tasty, nor because they weren’t tender enough—that was all fine. There was just one little problem: they were far too spicy. Nobody could actually finish them. This time, I dare to take on the challenge; I’d really like to try them.
BIZARRE. This is why McDonald’s soft-serve machines are always broken

4. McGratin Croquette
It looks perfectly styled, doesn’t it? And with a bit of a French accent, it even sounds pretty okay. But just wait until you hear what’s inside. No joke: mashed potatoes, macaroni and shrimp. Good. God. No.

5. McAfrika
No idea whether this burger (with pita bread instead of a bun) was tasty or not. But it was a full-blown PR nightmare. The McAfrika was launched in 2002, when southern Africa was struggling with a massive famine…

6. Corn Shrimp Burger
Maybe, just a thought, McDonald’s should stop putting shrimp in their burgers. Seems best for everyone. This one was created in honor of the children’s movie Minions, and consisted of a deep-fried shrimp burger and a slice of deep-fried corn. Holy shitballs, this is a seriously unhealthy choice!
