Amsterdam is getting a Karen’s Diner with rude staff
Imagine being called Karen and living in the United States. There, the name is more or less synonymous with a middle-aged woman who always wants to speak to the manager. Don’t be such a Karen is therefore a perfectly normal response to someone who is always moaning. And Karen just happens to have been the inspiration for the successful Karen’s Diner concept. Alongside tasty burgers, it’s especially the rude service that Karen’s Diner is all about.
In Australia, it’s a huge hit, with locations in Melbourne and Sydney. Welcome to Karen’s Diner. Where staff are trained to treat their guests as rudely as possible. At Karen’s Diner, the guests aren’t the complaining Karens—instead, all the staff do the complaining.
On the menu today… terrible service ?
And now a Karen’s Diner is coming to Amsterdam ‘with more Karens than you can complain too!’ The menu includes Dirty American burgers’, shakes, cocktails ‘and plenty of Karens’.
Secret location
