Amsterdammers can book a room again for Mastercard Hotelnacht 2022
Yes, Amsterdam’s most delicious sleepover is coming back. On January 15 and 16, Amsterdammers can travel in their own city again during Mastercard Hotelnacht. You can book a room starting next Saturday, November 13.
And if I may advise you: do it! I never skip a year of Hotelnacht and genuinely think it’s one of the best nights of the year (yes, really—I’ve experienced some truly crazy parties during Hotelnacht). In any case, it’s fun to stay overnight in your own city, in a hotel where you pay much less than usual during this night. For the upcoming edition too, Amsterdam’s finest hotels will once again throw their doors wide open (on the third weekend of January 2022).
Crazy parties
From Pulitzer (my favorite, also because of restaurant Jansz. and the beautiful courtyard garden) to Okura, from Ambassade Hotel to Conscious Hotel The Tire Station, there’s plenty of choice again. Besides offering a wonderfully luxurious night’s stay, various hotels are organizing dozens of creative, cultural and culinary parties. From a pool party to a winter BBQ, from a cocktail workshop to a yoga session or suite party.
Solo travelers
This time, special attention is being paid to solo travelers. Organizer Vincent van Dijk: ‘For years, we’ve heard from singles that they hesitate to book a room on their own. This edition, they can book a Single Arrangement at DoubleTree by Hilton Amsterdam Centraal Station, which will be renamed SingleTree by Hilton for the occasion. Here, they can meet people at the Contact Bar and also take part in a special series of events, dinners and brunches centered around meeting others.’
Book a room quickly
The program will be announced in mid-December. This is also when individual-ticket sales for the popular hotel festival will begin. Starting Saturday, a room can be booked at around 25 hotels using a special early-bird code. Starting Sunday, any Amsterdammer can book a hotel room. Visit www.hotelnacht.nl
