We may say popie Jopie, but the name Joop is anything but popular these days. In fact, the name Joop is dying out. Craft brewery Jopen is sounding the alarm and taking action.
Forget Wolf, Storm or Vlinder. Joop! Now that’s a name to be proud of. And that’s why the Haarlem-born beer brewer wants to put this quintessentially Dutch first name back on the map.
Gather all the Joops!
It starts by calling on all the Joops (and Jopies) to register. Fill in the form and receive the ultimate Popie-Jopie package: complete with a Popie-Jopie hoodie, Popie-Jopie beanie or bucket hat, Popie-Jopie glasses and Popie-Jopie bag.
Does that turn you into a walking Jopenbier advertising column? Absolutely. Is that exactly what Jopenbier wants? Absolutely. But hey: that’s simply part of the life of a Joopfluencer. The slogan ‘Make Joop Great Again’ can be interpreted in several ways for a reason.

Are you a thoroughly hip trendsetter and did you name your newborn Joop or Jopie? Then you’d better arrange a babysitter, because these ‘saviours of Joop’ will receive a special six-course surprise menu at the Jopenkerk for two people from Jopen Brewery, a matching beer pairing and a beer package to take home.
