Bizarrely funny: man marries his rice cooker

Love goes through the stomach, we know, but some people really take things just a step too far. Like this man, who got married last week to his, uh… rice cooker?!

In a world full of bizarre news, there are plenty of events that make us burst out laughing (kitchen blunders, fast-food signs…) — except for that funny menu, which is actually never funny. But the biggest joke: the man who recently decided to marry a kitchen appliance.

Khoirul Aman is the man who was the talk of social media over the past few days after sharing with his followers that he had married his beloved rice cooker. The photos he shared show Khoirul dressed in traditional white clothing. The rice cooker was also dressed up for the special occasion and wore(?) a white veil. See for yourself:

All’s well that ends well?

Although Khoirul claimed to be crazy about the rice cooker because it was always honest, obedient, loving and good at cooking (hahaha), the couple did not live happily ever after. After four days, the newlyweds announced that they were getting divorced. The man called his choice difficult and painful, but had nevertheless realized that the rice cooker was not the perfect partner for him.
