Bloody annoying: Take-away everywhere and nowhere to pee

Wildly popular during corona: take-away and, in its wake, take-away walks. All very nice and tasty, until you need to pee.

It happened to me again yesterday, in the Amsterdamse Bos. I went to get a drink at pancake restaurant Boerderij Meerzicht. It was warm, I already kind of needed to go, but after the drink I bought there, I really needed to. But no: ‘because of corona, nobody is allowed to pee here.’
March 31, 24 degrees
Now you might say: you were in a forest, there are trees everywhere. Yes, true, absolutely. But it was the end of March and the trees were still practically bare, and it suddenly happened to be 24 degrees at the end of March, so there were also lots of walkers among all those bare trees. Besides: isn’t it just complete nonsense that because of corona we’re not allowed to pee anywhere?!
With your coat in front of you
And this is already the umpteenth time I’ve had to search in near panic—in a forest, at the beach, in the city—for a place where I can pull down my trousers without embarrassment. Often in the presence of my teenage son, who—‘why don’t you just stand over there with your coat in front of you’—is utterly mortified by his crouching mother in the bushes.
Life isn’t fair
The fact that you can’t use the toilet at every restaurant, café or pancake house also drove FavorFlav’s Delilah absolutely mad during her—delicious, incidentally—Tasty Walk recently: ‘How is it that this is still so damn unfair and unequally distributed in a city, that men can go and stand at a urinal or something every few hundred metres, but that’s impossible for women? I pay municipal taxes too, damn it?!’
So here’s an appeal to everyone in politics, especially those without penises: could you please do something about this very quickly? An emergency law would be nice. Preferably introduced immediately. Many thanks in advance!
