The supermarket has decided to immediately remove the AH Oven & Airfryer Cheese Croquette from its stores. Croquettes filled with aged cheese, Italian cheese and Gruyère. Is there a risk of the Airfryer exploding, or is something wrong with the product itself? The latter turns out to be the case.

No cheese croquette

The packaging of the AH Oven & Airfryer Cheese Croquette may in fact contain… shrimp croquettes. Not exactly tasty if you’re allergic to shellfish. A valid reason to return the cheese croquettes to the store immediately. When you return the product, you will receive a refund of the purchase price. So check your freezer: this concerns the AH Oven & Airfryer Cheese Croquette with a best-before date of 24 January 2025.

Make cheese croquettes yourself

One more tip: with so little cheese (2.8% aged cheese, 2.7% Italian cheese and 2.7% Gruyère) and so much sugar, you’re better off making them yourself. These cheese croquettes by Tobias Camman are delicious, as are the famous cheese croquettes from Rijsel.
