Brandt & Levie launches its own burger

Can’t get enough of Brandt & Levie’s sausages either? The Amsterdam-based sausage makers are expanding their meat empire and, together with Ellis Gourmet Burger, have created a very own hamburger: the Porky Porchetta.

You had me at porky. And porchetta, actually. Jiri, Geert and Samuel, the three chefs behind your favourite sausage brand, have transformed their most popular sausage into a proper burger. The fennel sausage, yes. To try the burger, you’ll have to head to Ellis Gourmet Burger, which you can fortunately find in Amsterdam, Breda, Rotterdam and Utrecht.

Extra porky

To make the burger extra porky, the hamburger is topped with thinly sliced porchetta and scamorza, a creamy Italian cheese. It’s then topped with some paprika ketchup, which Brandt & Levie also developed together with the burger chain. All in all, the perfect burger for true pork lovers.

The burger will be available at all Ellis Gourmet Burger locations from 6 November.
