Brownies in your mailbox

If you want to cheer someone up, flowers or a card are of course an option, but FavorFlav’s Marieke much prefers sending brownies. Yes, sending them, because they’re simply delivered by post.

The company I order those brownies from is called—this probably won’t surprise you—Brownies per Post. Via the website, you select how many brownies you want to order and which flavor. There are salted caramel brownies, cheesecake brownies, blondies with macadamia nuts and lots of other varieties. If you can’t choose, there’s a box containing all the flavors.

I’ve tasted the brownies myself, because I know someone who has them delivered. The verdict? Compact and fudgy, with a glossy top, exactly how I like them. Another nice touch: everything is made with fair-trade chocolate, organic eggs, flour and butter.

If you order before 4:00 p.m., a box of brownies will be in your mailbox the next business day. You can choose from a small box (6 pieces), regular box (12 pieces) and the super box (24 pieces). Orders start at € 11.50, and a card with a personal message is included as well.
