Celebrations launches limited edition containing only Bounties

Bounty lovers, are you reading this? Or are you even out there, given that Bounty is by far the least popular Celebrations chocolate? I honestly don’t understand it, because I think Bounty is absolutely delicious — especially in miniature form. Better than a Mars, even. So yes, this news made me happy: Celebrations is releasing a limited edition containing only Bounty.

You’ll have to be quick, though, as only 30,000 packs are available. Oh yes… And you’ll also have to go to England for them, because that’s where they’ll be hitting the shelves.

Think of it as an apology to the fans

Kerry Cavanaugh from Mars told the media that this is a kind of apology to the fans. Earlier, they removed Bounty from the Celebrations boxes, and it wasn’t exactly well received. Fortunately, that mistake has since been corrected, but the pain is still clearly felt by all Bounty lovers. Hence this campaign: ‘Last year, the Bounty lovers made their voices heard (when Bounties were removed from Celebrations), and it’s time to give something back to them.’

The limited editions will be available on English shelves from this week until Christmas. As it happens, I’m going to London in November… Time to stock up.
