Cheese through your letterbox: this cheese subscription makes it possible

Does your cheese always run out in no time, is going to the supermarket (right now) not exactly your favorite hobby, and do you prefer sinking your teeth into creamy farmhouse cheese? Then I have good news for you!

You can now, uniquely!, take out a cheese subscription with firma kaas. Straight from the farmer through your letterbox, just like that, plop, onto your mat, your plate, your sandwich or alongside drinks. Simple, right? You can choose from three different types: young matured, matured and aged. You can also choose whether you want to receive a package weekly or every other week. There are several participating farmers to choose from. Getting the same cheese from one favorite farmer is also an option.

Either way, the farmhouse cheese is handmade on the farm and made with fresh, raw milk from the farmers’ own cows. What’s more, the cheese is naturally matured. Each farmer uses their own authentic recipe for this.
How it works
Every week, firma kaas collects the cheese from the farms. Once the cheese has been cut and labeled, PostNL ships it in a specially designed letterbox box. So you don’t have to stay home for the delivery. The box contains a personally signed card from the farmhouse cheese team. Cheese paper is included too, so you can keep the cheese fresh for longer.
What kind of farmers are they?
The participating farmers are spread throughout the Netherlands. One cheese farm has been around for a hundred years, another is run by the fourth generation of cheesemakers, and the third is a team effort by an entire family. Because firma kaas buys cheese directly from these farmers on the one hand and offers it directly to customers on the other, it removes unnecessary links from the chain. In addition, the participating farmers receive significantly better pay. Nice, right?
Why cheese is yellow
Do you ever wonder about this too? Through firma kaas, you can sign up for a free 3-day mini-crash course: ‘learn everything about cheese’. You’ll receive three emails with practical information about cheese, such as: why is cheese actually yellow? Is there a difference between raw milk from the farm and pasteurized milk? In short, learn more about cheese and enjoy it even more!
