Coffee Geeks Unite!

Food festivals are doing well. Drink festivals too. But one focused on coffee? Yep. The successful Amsterdam Coffee Festival will celebrate its fifth edition in March 2018. A meeting place for coffee geeks, home baristas, coffee enthusiasts and professionals.

Following its introduction in London in 2011, there are now Coffee Festivals in New York, Los Angeles, Cape Town and Milan. And in Amsterdam, of course, where around 15,000 coffee geeks are thirsty for coffee and coffee knowledge every year. And next year, they’ll be well catered for once again.
Shaking coffee
New additions include coffee cocktail workshops inspired by the creations of the participants in Tia Maria’s Coffee Mixologists Competition. Learn how to shake and stir with coffee yourself. Also new is the much-needed Festival Passport, which helps visitors navigate the extensive offering in an interactive way.
ACF: 3 days of brewing, slurping & shaking coffee
Returning staples at the Westergasterrein in Amsterdam include the Latte Art Live demos and four coffee championships, including the Dutch Barista Championship and the Latte Art Championship.
Coffee-Food Pairing
There will also be a food truck market, DJs, talks and coffee-food pairings, as well as coffee-inspired art from the Coffee Art Project. And not to forget: more than 100 stands where you can endlessly indulge in coffee, tea and chocolate.
