Corona news: Grolsch is bringing beer to your home

Fancy a cold beer but don’t feel like going to the supermarket? We feel your pain, must be what they thought at Grolsch, because they’ve come up with a fun temporary promotion: ‘Grolsch Beer at Home’.

“Many people have to and want to stay at home. And our employees at drinks retailers have little or nothing to do. So this temporary promotion is a win-win as far as we’re concerned,” said a Grolsch spokesperson.
Lucky number 7
If you live in the eastern Netherlands, you’re in luck, because for now Grolsch only delivers to postcodes that begin with a 7. Via a special website you can choose between five different beer packages and place your order online. It will be delivered to your home the next day. And, surprise: with every order, you get a free six-pack of alcohol-free beer.
How much does it cost?
You pay € 27.50 for two crates of beer and a six-pack, including delivery costs (and excluding the deposit). A minor downside: there are no deliveries on Saturdays and Sundays, so make sure you stock up enough to skip the supermarket at the weekend too.
