We had to wait a little, but after some delays due to the coronavirus crisis, the new food hall in Scheveningen has finally reopened. In the new food hall, you’ll find 17 different kitchens, several bars and an incredibly delicious terrace with a sea view.

17 kitchens in one place

The Foodhall Scheveningen is not just any food hall. The gigantic hall, filled with lights and stands, is inspired by Asian markets. So it’s no wonder that you feel as if you’re walking around a lively and vibrant market square when you’re here. Although the building’s appearance is inspired by the markets of Asia, you can sample food from all over the world alongside Asian dishes. From gyros to churros and from Scheveningen oysters to Vietnamese spring rolls; set aside an entire day for a visit to the food hall, because there’s plenty to enjoy!

This summer’s hotspot

A lot has changed on the Noordboulevard in Scheveningen in recent months. The whole area has been completely renovated. The food hall, built entirely in the architectural style of the famous Kurhaus, rightly deserves to be called one of the new hotspots on the boulevard. Inside, there are no fewer than 300 seats, and there is plenty of space outside too. For now, it is only possible to sit on the terrace, but of course you can get the tastiest bites and drinks from the stands inside. And with those sunny summer days ahead, this is the perfect place to settle in!

You’ll find Foodhall Scheveningen at Strandweg 161 in The Hague.
