Hard seltzer is a category of drinks that is hugely popular in America and is becoming increasingly common here too. They are low-alcohol drinks made with sparkling water, alcohol and a (fruit) flavor. Desperados does not actually call the new drink a hard seltzer, but Alcoholic Sparkling Water, though it amounts to the same thing. The new Desperados contains 4.5% alcohol and is also low in calories (just 99 in this case).

4-pack and single can

Desperados seltzer is available in a 4-pack (4x33cl) and as a single can (33cl) at Jumbo, Plus and Albert Heijn. From next week, it can also be ordered from major rapid-delivery services such as Zapp. The recommended retail price for the 4-pack of cans (4x33cl) is €7.92, while the price for a single 33cl can is €1.98. The drink is also available in the hospitality industry.
