Amsterdam’s Sir Dam Vodka wins prestigious global award

5000 spirits were recently tasted by a panel of 70 professionals from around the world during the 22nd edition of the San Francisco World Spirits Competition (SFWSC). And here, at America’s largest and most influential competition, a new Amsterdam vodka took home a gold award.  

Sir Dam Vodka is run by the two Kagan brothers with the aim of putting Amsterdam on the map as a global city. This award is already a great start. “My brother and I are incredibly proud! The competition was exceptionally strong; never before have there been as many entrants as there were this year. Of course, we are familiar with the quality of our product, but being awarded the gold prize at our very first major competition is overwhelming,” says Johannes Kagan Han, co-founder of Sir Dam Vodka.

The Amsterdam vodka is distilled five times, with no added sugars, and made from pure, clear Amsterdam water. The result is a smooth, vibrant and flavourful vodka. A bottle costs € 39,99 at Gall&Gall.
