Heineken launches a new, refreshing beer: Heineken Silver

Also a fan of a golden-yellow cold one with a white head of foam? Then you probably won’t want to miss this news. Heineken is launching a new beer: Heineken Silver.

Extra refreshing with a subtle finish; that’s what the new beer from the world’s best-known brewery promises. Like the other lagers, the new addition to the Heineken family is brewed with pure and natural ingredients that give the beer its distinctive flavor. Yet the Silver variant is just a little different from the brewery’s ‘regular’ beer.
Approachably refreshing
And that’s mainly because the beer has a lower bitterness and slightly less alcohol (4 percent). Something the younger generation in particular needs these days, Heineken observed. “What sets Heineken Silver apart is that during brewing it is lagered at an ice-cold temperature of -1° Celsius,” says master brewer Willem van Waesberghe. This makes Heineken Silver just a little more approachable and easier to drink, while also being refreshing.

As of today, Heineken Silver is available at Jumbo and Albert Heijn, as well as from various quick-commerce delivery services. In the weeks that follow, the new beer, recognizable by its turquoise appearance, will also be available on the shelves of other supermarkets and on tap at hospitality venues throughout the Netherlands.
