Did you know you can prepare these simple things in the Airfryer?

Keep it simple, and you’re already being crazy enough. At least, sometimes. Because although we know how to conjure up the most culinary creations from the Philips Airfryer, we also use it for these simple applications.

Mashed potato dish from the Airfryer
Did you know that Philips and stamppot have a history together? During the Second World War, Philips had several Philiprak takeaway points. Philips staff could use meal vouchers to get stamppot there: ‘Philiprak’, in other words. Now the old recipe has been given a new twist: stamppot from the Airfryer. Delicious with mustard and piccalilli.

Frittata
The great thing about frittatas is that you can pimp them exactly the way you like: with or without meat, extra cheese or extra vegetables. Anything goes. Tip: definitely try this one with mushrooms, Swiss chard and goat’s cheese—so delicious! Packed with vegetables and it looks lovely on the table too. Read here how to make it.

Vegetable fries
Frying vegetables is the best of both worlds because it feels healthy and tastes great. But it can be even better: vegetable fries from the Airfryer! Much less fat and at least as deliciously crispy. These zucchini fries, for example, are great as a side dish but also perfect as a starter—with aioli or another delicious garlic sauce. Of course, you can also use other vegetables for variety. Parsnip, carrot or celeriac, for example.

Potato gratin
There are few things as heartwarming as potato gratin: savoury, filling, creamy and crispy. Mmm. The ideal side dish in winter. And if you make it in the Airfryer, it’s also ready much faster than in the oven. Fifteen minutes and you can sit down at the table. That’s how you do it.

Kapsalon
The pride of Rotterdam when it comes to snacks has to be kapsalon. It’s not exactly known for its fit-girl status, of course, but you can make it a little lighter: with—the name gives it away—the Airfryer. Tip: make it even lower in calories with the low-carb fries from Leon&León.
