DubbelFrisss now has Pornstar Martini and Strawberry Mojito flavors

The next brand looking to ride the Pornstar Martini hype has stood up, then. And it’s one I absolutely didn’t see coming, and to be honest, I don’t really understand it either. DubbelFrisss launched no fewer than two new flavors, including the Pornstar Martini — the other is Strawberry Mojito. And I have some thoughts about that.

Quite apart from the fact that it sounds extremely unpleasant to me, I was also genuinely confused. Because why these flavors? Isn’t DubbelFrisss mainly drunk by children?
There’s no alcohol in it
Okay, it says in the top left on the packs that it contains zero percent alcohol — but I find it very striking that this can’t be found on the packs online. But why would you want to link a non-alcoholic drink, primarily aimed at and consumed by children, to cocktails? So that ten-year-olds now come home asking whether their mom or dad can bring them a Pornstar Martini? I personally find that very strange.
And besides, it also doesn’t seem like a good idea to glorify alcohol so much among young children already. The legal drinking age was raised from sixteen to eighteen back then, for a reason, so why would you want to promote cocktails to minors already?
Not recommended for adults either
But if I just look at myself, it would of course be more than ideal if you could buy alcohol-free Pornstar Martinis at the supermarket and then only have to add vodka yourself at home. That would be amazing. So were these flavors developed for that purpose, with adults as the target audience? If that’s the case, dear DubbelFrisss, then it at least needs to taste good — and I can tell you that this does not.
Maybe we should simply stop mixing cocktails with other types of products. Napoleon already tried it with hard candies, with little success…
