Eindhoven now has a pink restaurant too

Thomas Eindhoven roze

While Amsterdam now has more pink than brown cafés, the ‘millennial pink’ trend has also arrived in Eindhoven. At Grand café Thomas, to be precise.

What Sketch, Mama Kelly and Van Aken can do, we can do too. Or better. That must be what the owners thought, because let’s be honest: the similarities are striking. Pink all over, golden details, LED letters—in other words: Instagrammableness at it’s finest. But hey: better well stolen than poorly invented, plus: the murals are particularly impressive.

The menu features small bites, steaks from the charcoal grill, and of course vegan and vegetarian dishes too. Even the kiddos have been thought of: free popcorn (no, unfortunately: really only for children), nuggets and bitterballen. A pink setting like this is naturally also perfect for a high tea, which flows into a high wine (or beer).

A longtime Thomas regular? Don’t worry: at the weekend, you can still party there until the early hours.
