Festival Mundial in Tilburg

Festival Mundial takes place on 24 and 25 June. Besides plenty of music, there is also plenty of food. And in that case, FavorFlav is naturally raring to go.

Food line-up

There is plenty of choice when it comes to food at Mundial. You can get a taco from Brabo Tako, where Latin American delicacies are made with products from Brabant – hence the name. We’re curious.

You can buy crispy fries at Friethoes. The fries are fresh and made from organic potatoes.

El Hambre roasts spareribs on the BBQ. The meat is roasted at the lowest possible temperature for as long as possible. The result is an irresistible smoky flavor in the juicy meat.

Even frikandel lovers have been taken into consideration. All weekend long, Freakandel – 10+ for the name of the food truck – will serve you this quintessentially Dutch snack. The combination of frikandel and food truck may sound strange, but apparently it can absolutely work.

Even more food 

‘Fifteen Minute Food Sessions’ will be organized at De Oase. Food demonstrations, food talks and tastings will take place here.

Music

A great many different music styles are represented at the festival. You can dance to pop and R&B, as well as latin, rumba and afrofunk. The best-known act: Brainpower & The Big Band Theory will perform. But there will mostly be many not-yet-so-well-known, upcoming artists.

The festival takes place in Tilburg on 24 and 25 June, at the Spoorzone (right next to the station). A day ticket costs € 32.50, and a weekend ticket € 45,-. You can find more info here.
