For the first time in history, Amsterdam has a restaurant with 3 Michelin stars. Huh, what, did I miss something? I can hear you thinking that. It is a temporary restaurant, after all, with a three-star chef at the helm: Jacob Jan Boerma. He will serve a special 6-course dinner at a unique location.

It is a playful initiative by online restaurant guide Diningcity.nl in collaboration with Hilton Amsterdam. The first edition of Restaurant Week on Tour will take place here from July 17 to 19. And so it is possible that Amsterdam suddenly has a three-star restaurant.

Salt-cured cod, slow-cooked trout

What can you expect? The menu includes salt-cured cod with a green herb cream and low-temperature-cooked trout with smoked potato cream, sauerkraut salad, chorizo dressing and lovage oil. A vegetarian version is also available. In addition, Jacob Jan Boerma has put together 2 lovely wine pairings and 1 alcohol-free pairing to accompany the dinner.

Make a reservation?

To guarantee exclusivity and quality, only 100 covers are available per evening. The price is €150, including live music. And for those interested: a meet & greet with the chef is also possible. Tables can only be booked online via Restaurant Week on Tour.
